President's Letter
It is my honor to extend greetings to you from the Ivy Community Service Foundation of Cary, Incorporated® (ICSFC). I am particularly honored to serve as our organization’s President. For over 25 years, our 501(c)3 organization has worked in collaboration with Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated®, Sigma Tau Omega Chapter, Cary, North Carolina. and other community service organizations to help meet the needs of underserved families in the surrounding western Wake area. On behalf of our Board of Directors and ICSFC members, I would like to extend heartfelt gratitude for the continued community contributions, financial resources, and volunteer support from the many generous citizens within our local communities.
With our mission to serve the community in areas of family, health, economics, and the arts, in 2024 we look forward to continuing our support for programs that provide services to improve conditions for many underserved families in the western Wake County community. Your generous financial support allows us to provide scholarships to deserving students pursuing life- changing college degrees. Also, your support allows us to award grants and sponsorships to organizations that promote family initiatives to provide access to life changing services and opportunities.
The global pandemic amplified the impact of the vast socio-economic disparities in our state and country. As a result, it became evident that as an organization we can, and should do more. This year we look forward to increasing our presence and impact through our Community Affairs outreach.
In closing, I cannot overstate how important your generous support is to our mission. Our level of community impact would not be possible without the tireless commitment and volunteer efforts of the ICSFC donors, sponsors, and partners. Your continued support will make the difference in our community and lives of so many families and young people for years to come.
